They’re all pretty good. No need to get two.
You’ll want a tripod adapter and tripod, especially for the 10x ones.
You might look at Orion optical on the web.
The 10×50’s will give you a wider field of view..and they make a tripod with a spring loaded swing arm that even if the binoculars get moved..they are still fixed on your object. also..I would recommend a reference book that is dedicated to binocular objects..because there are a whole lot of binocular objects out there to be seen…very cool stuff!!
any binocular you want… get it
as long as it works!
Stick with the 10×50 or larger and a Tripod is a definate MUST if you use them for astronomy. Otherwise you wil be too shakey to enjoy your views. Even your pulse will make them shake.
I prefer Orion products personally.

They do have some excellent binoculars and tripods for astronomy.
I would also like to suggest that you join a local Astronomical Society or astronomy club in your area. You will meet a lot of really nice people who can help you to get the most out of your purchase and teach you where all the treasures in the sky are located and you can join them at star parties. Most clubs have loaner scopes and lend books and videos too plus they have great presentations at their monthly meetings. You won’t be sorry you joined a club.
Binoculars will have no effect in enlarging the pinpoints of light of stars but they will reveal thousands of stars that you can't see with the naked eye.

The champion jockey relished his chance to shine on a stage that has not always been kind to him To Cheltenham’s obvious displeasure the ancient backdrop of Cleeve Hill was despoiled by a bookmaking advert modelled on the Hollywood sign above Beverly Hills. No patch of nature can be called sacred now that the Cotswold vista has been sold as a billboard but at least Tony McCoy’s brilliance in the saddle cannot be messed with. McCoy versus Ruby Walsh is the tasty sub-plot of this Festival and not only because the champion jump jockeys of England and Ireland collide in Friday’s Gold Cup on Denman and Kauto Star. Last year Walsh shot past his friend in the all-time Festival jockeys’ list, his seven wins taking him to 24, three ahead of the implacable AP, who pulled one back on Binocular before Walsh skated home in the last on Quevega. The wounding blow 12 months ago from a pal he provides lodgings for when Walsh is riding in England might explain McCoy’s exceptionally euphoric countenance…

You need to think about what your requirement is for historical proof of a persons existence. Historians have a scientific methodology accepted by their peers in determining the probable facts surrounding a persons existence. Placing the requirement of having a written account of an historical figure during their lifetime to prove their existence is not a necessity for historians. Understand your stance is in opposition to historical science.

When it comes to science fiction, fantasty, and space art, Ron Miller is an artist’s artist. Before becoming a freelance illustrator (and Hugo-nominated book author), Miller was art director for the National Air & Space Museum’s Albert Einstein Planetarium. Along with doing book and magazine illustrations, he’s also created production art for films like Dune and Total Recall, and designed stamps for the US Postal Service. Recently, Scientific American commissioned art from Miller to illustrate their new interactive feature, “8 Wonders of the Solar System, Made Interactive.” The audio-visual feature explores the likes of Jupiter’s Red Spot, the Geysers of Enceladus, the sunrise on Mercury, and, of course, Saturn’s rings. Here’s the caption for the image above, depicting Valles Marineris on Mars: People have been known to fall to their knees and weep at the sight of Arizona’s Grand Canyon. One wonders what the first traveler to the Mariner Valley will do when gazing into this canyon. At…
